Scope
This standard specifies a method for determining the minimum dosage (i.e., the toxicity limit) of a preservative that can effectively prevent the selected decay fungi from causing wood decay, under the most suitable laboratory conditions, by measuring the loss of wood quality caused by decay fungi after the wood treated with the preservative is infected. The toxicity limit of this preservative measured by this method can be regarded as the minimum dosage that the preservative should achieve in field trials above ground (including contact with the ground).
