Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for AC high-voltage electrostatic protective clothing. This standard applies to AC power transmission lines and substations with a rated voltage of 110 (66) kV to 750 kV, and to AC high-voltage electrostatic protective clothing worn by personnel conducting inspections and ground potential operations. AC high-voltage electrostatic protective clothing manufactured in accordance with this standard shall not be used as equipotential shielding clothing.
