GB/T 12222-2023 Multi-turn valve actuator attachments

Scope

This document specifies the relevant requirements for the connection of multi-turn or linear-stroke actuators connected to valves:
—— The flange dimensions necessary for multi-turn actuators connected to industrial valves [see Figure 1a)] or intermediate supports [see Figure 1b)];
—— The structural form and dimensions of the drive components of multi-turn actuators necessary for connection to the driven components;
—— The dimensions of the flange connection surfaces and the reference values of torque and thrust for connecting flanges directly to industrial valves.
This document applies to the connection dimensions of multi-turn valve actuators and valves.
Note 1: In this document, "valves" include "valves with intermediate supports" [see Figure 1b)].
Note 2: When the multi-turn actuator is composed of a multi-turn actuator and an integrated multi-turn gearbox or linear-stroke assembly, the connection is in accordance with the provisions of this document, see Figures 1a) and 1b). When the multi-turn actuator is composed of a multi-turn actuator and a separate multi-turn gearbox or linear-stroke assembly, the connection of the multi-turn actuator to the gearbox is in accordance with the provisions of this document, see Figures 1c) and 1d).
