Scope
This standard specifies the methods for determining the amount of silver in silver sludge, residues, rinsing and processing solutions, and wastewater generated during the production and processing of various photographic products, including sampling, sample preservation, and analysis methods. The atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) can be directly used for many types of samples. Digestion method A is suitable for low-salt wastewater and washing water, and digestion method B is suitable for film, photographic paper, sludge, resin, and concentrated processing wastewater.
