GB/T 46246-2025 Wind energy generation systems—Wind measurement for applicationof meteorological mast,nacelle and spinner mounted instruments

Scope

IEC 61400-50 describes the methods and requirements for using equipment to measure wind speed (and related parameters such as wind direction and turbulence intensity). For wind energy and wind turbine technologies described in other documents (such as resource assessment and wind turbine characteristic testing), these measurement values are used as input for some evaluation and testing procedures.
This document applies to wind measurement devices installed on wind measurement towers, wind turbine nacelles, or wind turbine fairings, where the measurements are taken at these locations.
This document does not include wind measurement remote sensing devices located at sites far from the installed equipment (such as vertical profiles or forward-facing lidar). This document specifically describes:
a) The grading parameters of cup anemometers and ultrasonic anemometers to evaluate the uncertainty of wind speed measurements made by specific types and models of anemometers under specific environmental conditions;
b) The procedures and requirements for grading cup anemometers and ultrasonic anemometers, for example, grading as part of the type test for a specific model and type of anemometer;
c) The procedures and requirements for wind tunnel calibration of anemometers;
d) Checking the consistency of the calibration of an anemometer installed on-site and an additional, optional method of comparing it with another anemometer on-site;
e) Requirements for installing anemometers and other instruments on wind measurement towers;
f) Evaluation of the uncertainty of wind speed measurements;
g) Reporting requirements.
