GB/T 4074.7-2024 Test methods of winding wires—Part 7:Test procedure for the determination of the temperature index of enamelled winding wires

Scope

According to the provisions of IEC 60216-1, this document specifies a test method for evaluating the temperature index of enameled and film-wound round and flat wires, either unimpregnated or impregnated with an impregnating agent, under atmospheric pressure by regularly monitoring the changes in AC test voltage. This test method is not applicable to fiber-insulated wires or inorganic fiber-film-wound wires.
Note: The data obtained according to this test method can provide designers and R&D engineers with a basis for further evaluating the insulation system and equipment tests and selecting winding wires.
