This standard specifies the protective performance requirements for industrial X-ray flaw detectors below 500 kV (hereinafter referred to as X-ray machines, including general structure X-ray machines, fine structure X-ray machines, special protection X-ray machines, full protection X-ray machines, etc.), the structural protection requirements for X-ray machines, and the X-ray protection, usage rules, and monitoring requirements during use.
This standard applies to the design, manufacture, installation, and use of X-ray machines below 500 kV.
