Scope
This standard specifies a standard method for measuring the connection strength between the acetabular cup and the acetabular liner. Although this method cannot truly reproduce the physiological loading conditions, it has become a method for comparing the overall integrity of various locking mechanisms.
This standard applies to modular acetabular components in hip joint prostheses.
