Scope

This document specifies additional requirements for pole-mounted metal-enclosed switchgear with internal arc categories, including related terms and definitions, rated values, design and structure, type testing, and selection guidelines. This document applies to pole-mounted metal-enclosed switchgear with a rated voltage of 3.6 kV to 40.5 kV and a frequency of 50 Hz or lower.
