Scope

This part of GB/T 2900 specifies the definitions of general terms related to high-voltage switchgear and control equipment (hereinafter referred to as switchgear and control equipment) with a rated voltage of 3.6 kV and above, including the assembly of switchgear and control equipment and its components, switchgear and its components, operating and characteristic parameters, and other electrical terms. This part applies to switchgear and control equipment such as circuit breakers, disconnect switches, grounding switches, load switches, bypass switches, transfer switches, isolation circuit breakers, reclosers, sectionalizers, contactors, starters, combined electrical apparatuses, and metal-enclosed switchgear. The term standard for high-voltage AC fuses is specified in GB/T 15166.1.
