This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and designation, dimensions, shape, weight, technical requirements, inspection and testing, packaging, marking, and quality certificates for continuous hot-dip galvanized steel plates and strips (hereinafter referred to as steel plates and strips). This standard applies to steel plates and strips with a thickness of 0.30mm to 5.0mm, which are mainly used in the automotive, construction, and home appliance industries for the production of interior and exterior coverings and structural parts that require formability and corrosion resistance.
