Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for indicator lights used to indicate the status of cargo container lifting devices and grabbing arms. This standard applies to: a) container lifting devices with a turning lock used to handle empty and/or fully loaded cargo containers; b) grabbing arms (grasping the bottom) used to handle semi-trailers and exchange container bodies.
