Scope
This part of GB/T 26930 specifies the determination of the softening point of coal tar pitch using the Mettler method, with a measurement range of 50 °C to 180 °C.
This part is applicable to the determination of coal tar pitch with a Mettler softening point of 50 °C to 180 °C. It is also applicable to the determination of other organic materials with a Mettler softening point of 50 °C to 150 °C used as adhesives or wetting agents.
