Scope

This part of GB/T 26930 specifies the method for determining the ash content in coal tar used in the production of primary aluminum.
This part is applicable to the determination of ash content in coal tar used in the production of primary aluminum. The measurement range is ≥0.05%.
If it is necessary to express the results in dry basis, subtract the moisture determined by GB/T 26970.1 (zeotropic distillation method) and convert the determined ash content results to those in dry basis.
