Scope
This standard specifies the terminology, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of magnetic powder brakes (hereinafter referred to as brakes).
This standard applies to self-cooling, air-cooling, and liquid-cooling brakes used in mechanical drive systems for braking and in control systems for adjusting speed, tension control, and testing loading, etc.
