Scope
This standard specifies the basic methods and principles for measuring the thickness of coatings on flexible film substrates (including organic, inorganic, and metallic coatings) using scanning electron microscopy, as well as the standard samples and instrumentation, the operating methods, and the data processing methods. This standard is applicable to the measurement of the thickness of coatings on flexible film substrates with a thickness of no more than 3 mm and a thickness of 10 nm to 0.5 mm.
