Scope

This procedure is applicable to the verification of laboratory-use gas chromatographs with detectors such as thermal conductivity (TCD), flame ionization (FID), flame photometry (FPD), electron capture (ECD), and nitrogen-phosphorus (NPD) that are newly manufactured, currently in use, or repaired. Argon ionization and helium ionization detectors can be tested by referring to the verification conditions for flame ionization detectors.
