Scope

This standard specifies the quality requirements and installation and inspection requirements for stainless steel corrugated hoses used for gas transmission in residential buildings.
This standard applies to the construction and acceptance of pipelines in residential buildings (including commercial-residential buildings) where hoses with a nominal pressure ≤ 5 kPa (gauge pressure) and a nominal diameter DN ≤ 32 mm are used to connect gas meters to valves at the front end of gas-using equipment.
In addition to this standard, the construction and acceptance of hoses shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant national standards currently in force.
