Scope

In order to standardize the feasibility assessment, survey, design, construction, acceptance, and operation monitoring and management of geothermal heat pump systems in our province, ensure their safety, suitability, economic rationality, and technological advancement and reliability, guarantee project quality, and meet the requirements of resource conservation and environmental protection, these regulations are formulated. These regulations apply to the feasibility assessment, survey, design, construction, acceptance, and operation monitoring and management of new, modified, and expanded geothermal heat pump systems that use geological formations, groundwater, surface water (rivers, lakes, urban domestic sewage) as low-temperature heat sources, and water or water solutions with antifreeze additives as heat transfer media, employing vapor compression heat pump technology for heating, air conditioning, or domestic hot water supply.
