Scope

In order to standardize the spraying and acceptance of fire-retardant coatings in tunnels, ensure the construction quality, and guarantee the fire safety of tunnels, these regulations are formulated. These regulations apply to the spraying and acceptance of fire-retardant coatings in concrete structures of various newly built, expanded, and renovated highway tunnels. In addition to complying with these regulations, the spraying and acceptance of fire-retardant coatings in tunnels shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant current national standards and norms.
