This document specifies the energy consumption (hereinafter referred to as "energy consumption") limits, technical requirements, statistical scope, and calculation methods for copper and copper alloy processing materials.
This document is applicable to the calculation and assessment of unit product energy consumption for enterprises producing copper and copper alloy ingots (billets), pipes, rods, wires, plates, strips, foils, and copper wire billets for electrical use, as well as the control of energy consumption for new and expanded projects.
This document is not applicable to the calculation and assessment of energy consumption for copper and copper alloy processing materials produced by special processes such as powder metallurgy, vacuum casting, and multi-stage aging.
