GB/T 10827.6-2023 Industrial trucks—Safety requirements and verification—Part 6: Burden and personnel carriers

Scope

This document specifies the safety requirements and verification methods for non-lifting self-propelled cargo carriers and/or self-propelled passenger carriers with three or more wheels, a maximum speed of not more than 56 km/h, and a load capacity of not more than 5,000 kg, as defined in ISO 5053-1:2020 (hereinafter referred to as "carriers" or "vehicles").
This document applies to vehicles equipped with platforms (which can be tilted) for transporting cargo, or with seats for transporting passengers.
This document does not apply to:
——Vehicles primarily used for earthwork or road transport;
——Unmanned vehicles;
——Golf carts;
——Tractors equipped with cargo platforms with a towing force of not more than 20,000 N.
This document addresses all major hazards, dangerous states, or dangerous events listed in Appendix A related to the use of machinery under the manufacturer's intended use and misuse under foreseeable conditions.
This document does not address the hazards arising from the risk of disintegration during operation.
This document does not include the hazards that may occur when the vehicle is used on roads or operated in potentially explosive environments.
This document does not stipulate the requirement to provide fire extinguishers.
