This standard applies to special equipment in use within the scope specified by the "Special Equipment Safety Law" and the "Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Special Equipment". This standard does not apply to the following special equipment: a) special equipment that has not obtained administrative licenses for special equipment or is designed, manufactured, installed, modified, or repaired beyond the scope of the license; b) special equipment that has been explicitly required to undergo supervision and inspection by national laws and regulations, safety technical specifications, and standards, but has not undergone supervision and inspection; c) special equipment during the manufacturing, installation, modification, or repair process; d) special equipment that has been decommissioned and reported to the registration authority; e) single-use gas cylinders
