This document establishes the procedures for afforestation, stipulates the specific requirements for the design of afforestation operations, afforestation zoning, afforestation tree species, seeds and seedlings, afforestation density, afforestation methods, non-forested area nurturing and protection, renewal afforestation, planting trees on the four sides of roads, habitat protection of afforestation sites, evaluation of afforestation quality and effectiveness, mapping of fallen trees, and afforestation archives, and describes the corresponding evaluation methods.
