Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the contents of antimony and tin by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of the contents of antimony and tin in carbon steel and low-alloy steel with a chromium content (mass fraction) of less than 1.50% and a nickel content (mass fraction) of less than 2.00%. The determination range of antimony (mass fraction) is 0.0020% to 0.12%; the determination range of tin (mass fraction) is 0.0020% to 0.13%.
