Scope
This standard specifies the methods for determining the content of free amino acids in plants, including three methods: the fully automatic amino acid analyzer method (Method 1), the high-performance liquid chromatography method (Method 2), and the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method (Method 3).
This standard is applicable to the determination of 21 kinds of free amino acids (alanine, arginine, asparagine, aspartic acid, cystine, gamma-aminobutyric acid, glutamine, glutamic acid, glycine, histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, proline, serine, theanine, threonine, tyrosine, and valine) in plant samples such as tea leaves, traditional Chinese medicines, and tobacco leaves.
