Scope

This document specifies the basic dimensions and markings of thread taps for cylindrical and conical pipes.
This document is applicable to the following two types of taps:
——Cylindrical pipe thread taps (see Figure 1 and Table 1);
——Conical pipe thread taps (see Figure 2 and Table 2).
The aforementioned threads comply with ISO 7-1 and ISO 228-1.
Appendix A provides the calculation method for the dimensions of each part, and Appendix B presents the correspondence between the symbols in this document and those in the ISO 13399 series of documents.
