This part of GB/T 34247 specifies the method of determining the unsaturation in isobutylene-isoprene rubber (IIR) [commonly known as butyl rubber (IIR)] by the iodine method.
This part is applicable to raw IIR rubber.
Note: The results of the determination obtained by this part and Part 2 of GB/T 34247 may differ.
