Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, design and structure, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, transportation, and storage of counters used in diaphragm gas meters (hereinafter referred to as counters).
This standard applies to mechanical counting counters of the numerical wheel type used in diaphragm gas meters for gas types such as artificial gas, natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas.
