GB/T 2423.1-2008 Environmental testing for electric and electronic products—Part 2:Test methods—Tests A:Cold
Basic Information
Scope
The low-temperature test specified in this part of GB/T 2423 is applicable to non-heat-dissipating and heat-dissipating test samples. There are no substantial differences between Test A and Test Ad compared with earlier versions1), and the purpose of adding Test Ae is mainly to test those devices that require power operation throughout the entire test process, including during the cooling adjustment period.
The purpose of this low-temperature test is solely to determine the ability of components, devices, or other products to be used, transported, or stored in low-temperature environments.
This low-temperature test cannot be used to evaluate the test samples' resistance to temperature changes and their operational capabilities in environments with temperature variations. In such cases, GB/T 2423.22 should be used instead.
