Scope

This part of GB/T 13465 specifies the sampling and sample processing methods for mechanical property tests of impermeable graphite materials, as well as the basic requirements for instruments and equipment, data processing, and test reports.
This part is applicable to the determination of mechanical properties such as tensile strength, compressive strength, bending strength, impact resistance, and water pressure burst strength of impermeable graphite materials (blocks, pipes, castings), and also to the determination of tensile strength, compressive strength, bending strength, and shear strength of graphite adhesive materials.
