Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and designation methods of hot-rolled weather-resistant angle steel for towers, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This standard applies to hot-rolled weather-resistant angle steel for towers in atmospheric environments with no corrosion, weak corrosion, light corrosion, or moderate corrosion (annual average relative humidity less than or equal to 75%).
