Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage, transportation, and quality certificates for ultra-pure graphite products used in fiber drawing. This standard applies to high-purity graphite with an ash content (mass fraction) of less than 20ppm and ultra-high-purity graphite with an ash content (mass fraction) of less than 5ppm used in fiber drawing.
