Scope
This standard specifies the classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, user manuals, packaging, transportation, and storage of electrolyte analyzers. This standard applies to electrolyte analyzers (hereinafter referred to as "instruments") that primarily use ion-selective electrodes as sensors. The instruments are used for clinical electrolyte analysis.
