Scope

This part of GB/T 31004 specifies the method of measuring the sound insulation of building components in the low-frequency range and the standardized sound level difference of components using the sound intensity method. In typical test facilities, the reproducibility of this method is significantly better than that of the methods in GB/T 19889.3, GB/T 19889.10, and GB/T 31004.1. The test results are more independent of the size of the laboratory room and closer to the measured values when the room volume is greater than 300 m3. This part of the standard can be applied to a frequency range of 50 Hz to 160 Hz, but it is mainly used in the frequency range of 50 Hz to 80 Hz.
