Scope

This standard specifies the various requirements for temperature controllers of experimental resistance furnaces of the KSB, KSD, KSG, KSJ, and KSY series (hereinafter referred to as temperature controllers), including product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, technical grading, and ordering and supply.
This standard applies to temperature controllers that are compatible with the SX, SK, and SG series of experimental box-type, tube-type, and crucible-type resistance furnaces.
For other temperature controllers used with experimental resistance furnaces, this standard is for reference only.
