Scope

This part of GB 1094 applies to dry-type power transformers (including autotransformers) with a maximum voltage of 40.5 kV or less, and at least one winding operating at a voltage higher than 1.1 kV. This part is applicable to dry-type transformers of various structures and processes.
This part does not apply to:
——Pneumatic dry-type transformers (when the gas filled is not air);
——Single-phase transformers with a rated capacity of less than 5 kVA;
——Multiphase transformers with a rated capacity of less than 15 kVA;
——Mutual inductors;
——Starting transformers;
——Test transformers;
——Locomotive traction transformers;
——Explosion-proof and mining transformers;
——Welding transformers;
——Voltage regulation transformers;
——Small power transformers with a focus on safety.
When there are no corresponding standards for the above transformers or other special transformers, this part can be applied in whole or in part.
