Scope
This part of GB/T 1479 specifies the method of measuring the bulk density of metal powders using the vibration funnel method. This part is applicable to metal powders that cannot flow freely through the funnel with a pore size of 5.0 mm (see GB/T 1479.1). This part is not applicable to metal powders that are prone to breakage during the vibration process (the determination method of the bulk density of such powders is specified in GB/T 1479.2).
