Scope

This part of GB/T 3286 specifies the method for determining the content of titanium dioxide using the spectrophotometric method with diphenylpyridylmethane.
This part is applicable to the determination of the content of titanium dioxide (calculated as TiO) in limestone and dolomite, and also to the determination of the content of titanium dioxide in metallurgical lime. The measurement range (mass fraction): the content of titanium dioxide is 0.005 0% to 0.30%.
