Scope

This part of GB 6067 stipulates the basic safety requirements for the design, manufacture, installation, modification, maintenance, use, inspection, and scrapping of bridge and gantry cranes (hereinafter referred to as cranes).
This part applies to bridge-type cranes defined in GB/T 20776.
Unless there are special issues involving basic safety, this part can also be used as a reference for other lifting machinery.
