Scope

This document specifies the environmental conditions for the use of bypass load switches, arc-extinguishing switches, and disconnecting switches in 10kV to 20kV overhead distribution lines during bypass operations, and describes the structure, electrical performance, and mechanical performance of the three types of switches. It also stipulates the technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for the three types of switches. This document is applicable to bypass load switches, arc-extinguishing switches, and disconnecting switches used in 10kV to 20kV overhead distribution lines during bypass operations in areas with an altitude of no more than 3,000 meters.
