Scope

This standard specifies the definition, classification, and marking of steel-plastic composite pressure pipes (hereinafter referred to as composite pipes), their materials and structures, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, product user manuals, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This standard applies to composite pipes used for the transportation of cold and hot water, drinking water, heating, gas, special fluids (including industrial wastewater, corrosive fluids, mine water supply, drainage, and compressed air), drainage (including gravity sewage, wastewater discharge, and siphon roof rainwater drainage systems), as well as composite pipes used for protecting power cables, communication cables, and optical cables in urban and construction environments.
