Scope

This part of GB/T 34550 specifies the test method for determining the corrosion inhibition, scale inhibition, and algae and bacteria inhibition performance of seawater cooling water treatment agents through dynamic simulation tests of seawater cooling systems.
This part is applicable to wall-mounted heat exchange equipment made of different metals in seawater circulating cooling water systems, and can also be used as a reference for conducting dynamic simulation tests of seawater direct cooling systems in laboratories and evaluating the performance of water treatment agents in engineering sites.
