Scope

This standard specifies the test systems, instruments, and test methods for single cells and battery stacks (hereinafter referred to as single cells/stacks) of solid oxide fuel cells, which are used to test the performance of solid oxide fuel cell single cells/stacks. This standard does not apply to small button batteries. Small button batteries can be used for solid oxide fuel cell material testing, but they cannot provide a method for measuring fuel utilization. This standard is used for data exchange in commercial transactions between manufacturers of single cells/stacks and system developers, or for collecting data on single cells/stacks to evaluate the performance of systems based on these single cells/stacks. Users of this standard can select some items suitable for their purposes to perform tests.
