Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for determining the full-thickness longitudinal tensile strength, reference force elongation, and break elongation of fabric-core conveyor belts. This test method is also used to determine the full-thickness transverse tensile strength and break elongation, for use when these properties are specified by the user for the product. This standard does not apply to light conveyor belts specified in ISO 211831.
