Scope

This standard specifies the energy efficiency grades, energy efficiency limits, and test methods and technical requirements for ventilators. This standard applies to general-purpose centrifugal ventilators, general-purpose axial flow ventilators, centrifugal induced draft fans for industrial boilers, centrifugal ventilators for power station boilers, axial flow ventilators for power stations, centrifugal ventilators for HVAC systems, and forward-curved multi-blade centrifugal ventilators. This standard does not apply to ducted ventilators for air conditioning, box-type ventilators, centrifugal ventilators without a casing, and ventilators for other purposes and with special structures.
