Scope

This part of GB/T 12690 specifies the determination methods for the contents of cobalt, manganese, lead, nickel, copper, zinc, aluminum, chromium, magnesium, cadmium, vanadium, and iron in rare earth metals, as well as the contents of cobalt oxide, manganese oxide, lead oxide, nickel oxide, copper oxide, zinc oxide, aluminum oxide, chromium oxide, magnesium oxide, cadmium oxide, vanadium oxide, and iron oxide in their oxides. This part is applicable to the determination of the contents of cobalt, manganese, lead, nickel, copper, zinc, aluminum, chromium, magnesium, cadmium, vanadium, and iron in rare earth metals, as well as the contents of cobalt oxide, manganese oxide, lead oxide, nickel oxide, copper oxide, zinc oxide, aluminum oxide, chromium oxide, magnesium oxide, cadmium oxide, vanadium oxide, and iron oxide in their oxides. It includes two methods: Method 1, inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry; and Method 2, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. The measurement range of Method 1 is shown in Table 1, and the measurement range of Method 2 is shown in Table 2.
