Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, inspection items, requirements and inspection methods, inspection reports (formats), and opinion notifications for the inspection of zip lines. This standard applies to the supervision and regular inspection of zip lines with a length of less than 360 m, and a maximum instantaneous speed of no more than 3.5 m/s before the carriages come into contact with the braking (buffering) devices.
