Scope
This standard specifies the stress corrosion test method for ring specimens of aluminum alloy processing products of the 2XXX series (with a copper content of 1.8% to 7.0%), the 7XXX series (with a copper content of 0.4% to 2.8%), and the 6XXX series.
This standard is applicable to aluminum alloy processing products such as plates, pipes, rods, profiles, and forgings of the 2XXX series (with a copper content of 1.8% to 7.0%), the 7XXX series (with a copper content of 0.4% to 2.8%), and the 6XXX series.
