Scope

This standard specifies the principles, reagents and materials, sample preparation, and experimental procedures for the chemical analysis of fixed carbon in graphite ores containing carbonate. This standard is applicable to the determination of fixed carbon (%) in graphite ores containing 0.15 to 19.12%, and if the results are verified, this method is also applicable to the determination of fixed carbon content in other types of ores ranging from 0.15 to 19.12%.
